The ranking system of Team Shinigami is simple and easy. There are but 4 ranks: Soul Director, Spirit Reaper, Death God, and Death God-Commander. Each one has its own characteristics and duties. First, I will explain each to prevent any confusion.

Soul Director - The Base of Shinigami
Superiors: Spirit Reaper, Death God

As a Soul Director, you are in charge of observation and relief. What is meant by this is that your key duty is to observe everything, absorb information on anything possible, especially important information, and keep Shinigami informed of any and all; You also will step in if needed for anything. Personally, whatever tactics you wish to use in order to do so is fine by me at this point in time, but if any prolems occur, I will impose strict rules for doing so. During a war between Shinigami and another team, you should excercise this duty to the fullest; be prepared as well - you never know when you could end up in the war.

Spirit Reaper - The Backbone of Shinigami
Superiors: Death God

As a Spirit Reaper, you are in charge of communication, you are also the front line. You will be the main force in any war, as well as responsible for handling all battle specifications, which can include changes in the lineup, swapping battle participants with another team member, inter-war communication, and battle preparations. All Soul Directors will report to you first with any information, so you are in charge of making sure that everyone is notified of it. During war, make use of the Soul Directors, but do not overdo it; make sure to use all information wisely, and we will truly dominate in warring.

Death God - The Force of Shinigami
Superior: Death God - Commander

Each Death God has proven their skills as a duelist, and each have characteristics that differ from one another, thus making the team a more unified front. Each Death God will be assigned a Black Ops Division; it is highly possible that 2 will be assigned to the same division. You will be in charge of that Division, which comes with being in charge of those who fall beneath your supervision. Death Gods will also be in charge of keeping everything in check, and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will attend a meeting once every two weeks with the Death-God Commander to discuss team matters, improving the team, terminating weak links, and changes to any part of Shinigami.

I believe it is obvious as to what the Death God-Commander does. so lets move forward.

Now that you understand the specifics of your rank, I will continue with the Rank system. It is a very simple one, and easy to follow. Your rank is first determined based upon your initial results from your entrance into Shinigami. Afterwards, there will be opportunities for you to advance in rank, so make sure to keep your eyes and ears open. Death Gods will assess the member that is up for advancement, and the Death-God Commander will approve before advancement. Simple, right? There is one more part to the rank system, which will be explained now.

There are special exceptions to advancing in rank before it is due. This is how it breaks down:

Soul Directors can obtain Spirit Reaper Status only by defeating not only the Spirit Reaper, but prove to the Death God(s) that preside over the proper Division they are of Spirit Reaper level in a duel. First, he/she must prove this to the Death God; if this is accomplished, then he/she will be granted the right to select any Spirit Reaper for what we will call "Soul Evalutaion". If the Soul Director defeats the Spirit Reaper, then they will switch ranks. If a Soul Director attempts a Soul Evalutaion and fails at the first step, he/she will remain a Soul Director for 2 weeks before he/she can attempt another. If a Soul Director fails at the second step, he/she will remain a Soul Director for 6 weeks before he/she can attempt another.

Spirit Reapers can obtain Death God status via Soul Evalutaion by:

1. PM to the Death God-Commander with proper reasoning for his decision. The Death God-Commander will then either approve or deny. If denied, the Spirit Reaper must wait 2 weeks before another attempt.
2. Defeat all Spirit Reapers other than himself/herself within 1 week of the approval from the Death God-Commander. If this is not accomplished, he/she must wait 4 weeks, and begin the process over.
3. Once Steps 1-2 have been accomplished, the Spirit Reaper will be allowed to select any Death God to duel; he/she must then pm his reasoning for his choice to the Death God-Commander; he/she will then be allowed 3 days to prepare for the duel against the selected Death God. If the spirit Reaper defeats the Death God, they will then switch ranks with one another; the defeated Death God has the right to a rematch, which if he/she decides so, will take place 1 day after the initial duel. If the Spirit Reaper is defeated by the Death God, he/she must wait 6 weeks before antoher attempt, and begin the process over.

Death Gods can obtain Death God-Commander status via Soul Evaluation by:
1. 2/3's vote from Shinigami
2. Best 2/3 Matches in which 3 seperate decks must be used
